Albany House

Albany House celebrates the character & old-world charm of an era gone by and seamlessly integrates contemporary living giving this young family space to grow. This restoration project was all about an injection of youth and playfulness, with bold black, white and gold accents.

It was important to create a clear delineation between the exiting terrace and the new extension to the rear of the property. Eclectic pieces tie the two distinct styles, celebrating the history of the existing home with the contemporary living in the new extension.

The original home was in a desperate state of repair and required stripping of all the original character from the home. We very passionately selected and reinstalled all of the skirtings and architraves, adding new wall mouldings and cornices true to the original Victorian aesthetic. The aim was to achieve a look that felt honest to the original style of the home.
