Our Design Studio is based in Sydney, Australia and specialises in high-end boutique Residential Interior Design. We work closely with our clients to deliver timeless interiors encapsulating contemporary practicalities with classic proportions and undertones. Strong attention to detail and developing an architectural language are the foundation of our work.

We have long standing relationships with local and international leading artisans to create and curate unique pieces for our clients' homes.

PRINCIPAL

As the daughter of a Melbourne-born interior designer and furniture importer, Carla grew up surrounded by Objet d'art and creative processes, which engrained artistic sensibilities from a young age.

Interior Design and Real Estate have been Carla's parallel passions throughout her young life. After completing her Diploma in Property (Real Estate), she gained valuable experience in real estate sales. Following her true calling, Carla obtained her Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Canberra in 2009. During her five-year tenure in Canberra, she had the invaluable opportunity to collaborate with architects and interior designers, honing her skills and expanding her knowledge in the field.

In 2012, Carla returned to her hometown of Sydney, joining international design firm Thomas Hamel & Associates and would spend eight years heading high-end residential projects in Sydney, Melbourne, and New York. Carla's projects at TH&A were regularly featured in House & Garden and Belle Magazine, winning the Belle Awards for Best Interior Design in 2020 and Best Use of Colour in 2017.

Carla's expertise in interior design has gained notable recognition, with her achievements showcased in esteemed publications and prestigious platforms. She was prominently featured in the Daily Telegraph article titled "Building Better Portfolios," as well as on realestate.com.au. Adding to her accolades, Carla was highlighted in a captivating six-piece mini-series documenting the transformation of one of her Real Estate renovation flips.

In 2021, Carla founded her design firm, swiftly gaining a reputation as a leading Sydney Interior Design Studio. Her exceptional talent and detailed approach have earned her nominations in the prestigious 2022 Fanuli Belle Awards for Best Emerging Interior Designer and Best Bathroom Design. Furthermore, Carla's work frequently graces the pages of Belle magazine, a testament to her well-considered designs and artistic vision.
